Sun Beach is located in "Downtown Celista" on The Shuswap Lake. Celista is situated approximately 50min west of Salmon Arm or 1 hour east of Kamloops. It is part of the unique area known as the North Shuswap.

Shuswap Lake is situated at the north end of the Okanagan Valley. It has over 1000km of shoreline (over half of which is still undeveloped crown land!), and is home to the infamous Copper Island which is a government park.
